Shareware vs. Commercial License

To allow for all types of developers to use our software, we offer two types of licenses: a Shareware License, and a Commercial License.

The discounted Shareware License is offered as a service to the industry, primarily for single person companies with little revenue (such as shareware authors). The software is licensed to the name of the individual purchasing the license.

The standard Commercial License is intended for larger companies with 3 or more employees. The software is licensed to the name of the company purchasing the license.

Both licenses include the royalty-free distribution of the FlashUpdate Client for an unlimited number of applications.
